My Roommates Favorites: Part 2

Hi Pretties!

Hope everyone is having a lovely day so far! I'm unfortunately suffering from some nasty allergy symptoms today because everything is pretty and blooming but at least it's nice outside. I had a wonderful birthday and got some awesome gifts that I will share soon, then had dinner with my family and boyfriend at Brio's (I had a delicious steak nom nom nom).

Todays post is the second part of my Roommates Favorites little mini series and I will be sharing Liz' favorites - she has been my roommate since freshman year and is a wonderful friend for dealing with all my crazy since then! She also has recently started her own blog sharing her journey into the duh duh duh...."Real World" - so follow her fun journey as she graduates from college in just a few weeks and moves to New York for her big girl job! Enjoy!

 Liz' Favorites

1. Benefit World Famous Neutrals Palette

top to bottom: call my bluff, it's complicated, gilt-y pleasure, kiss me i'm tipsy (eyeshadows)

top: birthday Suit       bottom: my two cents (creaseless shadow/liners)

Why She Loves It:
"I love this palette because the colors are so wearable, I can take my look from day to night so easily. The cream shadows work as great primers to lay under the color or just use one as your shadow if you're in a hurry!"

2. Tarte Cashmere Waterproof Liners

top to bottom: bronze, black brown, black orchid, black

Why She Loves it: "These eyeliners are the creamiest liners I've ever tried, you don't have to tug at your eye to put them on. I really like that you can smudge them to create a softer liner look. My favorite for night is the shimmery purple, it makes my blue eyes POP!"

3. Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour Color

color:  030 Endless Ruby

Why She Loves it: "If you need a lip color that won'y budge this is for you! It wears through drinking, eating, talking, and basically everything. Last weekend I was too tired to take my makeup off (shh don't tell Jess) and in the morning I swear it was still on my lips as if I just applied it."

4. Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil

Why She Loves it: "I have always had a problem with dry skin and this stuff works miracles on the dry spots. It's really fast absorbing and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or heavy like some creams. I also use it in my hair as a shine serum and on my cuticles  at night before bed."

5. Lush Superbalm Scalp Treatment

Why She Loves it: "Like I said before, I have dry skin and my scalp get's a little flaky. I use head and shoulders and the Wen shampoo in the shower but it still flakes. I work this into my scalp about 20 minutes before I'm going to take a shower and then rinse it out and shampoo and condition as normal. I've definitely seen an improvement in my scalp and less flakes!
