Top Left, Bottom Left, Top Right, Bottom Right |
Pigmentation: 8/10
- Top Left: Iridescent pale pink. This shadow is very sheer and after blending leaves just an light pink iridescence to the skin.
- Bottom Left: Light brown taupe. Goes on the smoothest out of all the colors in the palette but color pay off is only so so.
- Top Right: Medium Shimmery Gray: This is my favorite color in the palette, it is very nicely pigmented and went on smooth with no fall out.
- Bottom Right: Deep Greenish Black with light green flecks of shimmer. I think this is a very unique color and have to admit that it is the reason this palette caught my eye. It is also nicely pigmented, however, I had to add another layer to get the intensity that I wanted.
Packaging: 8/10
Overall the packing is nothing too exciting, but I do think it looks very nice and sleek. I like the fact that it has a see through cover so that you can see what colors you are inside when it is hiding in your makeup bag. I also think that the chart on the back showing a suggested way to wear the palette is a nice touch for those who may not want to experiment right away.
Application: 7/10
I do that that majority of the colors in this palette were soft and velvety like they claim them to be. The only small trouble I had was that I was having a difficult time blending the colors once I had applied it to my lid. Once they were down, those suckers stayed put!
Longevity: 8/10
I will be honest I did not get to test them out for a whole 16 hours. However, after 4 hours of wear they had no creasing or smudging. I did wear them with an eye primer, and did notice that the colors weren't as intense as when I had put them on. I was very happy though that they didn't crease, seeing as they are darker colors where creasing is usually very noticeable.
Overall Score: B
Overall I think for the price and drugstore brand makeup this palette was of very nice quality. I don't know if I would re-purchase this product mainly because I already own similar colors to the ones in the other palettes they have. I would recommend these palettes if you're on a budget (like most of us are) and want a quality product that won't break the bank! They are a fun, cost conscious way to play with color!
Thanks for Reading!
