A little Tuesday Cuteness!

Hi lovely readers! 

No post about makeup today - I'm super busy right before Spring break and will be a busy bee tonight writing a paper. However, I thought I would begin to share a little more about me. If you know me you know i'm obsessed with my dogs and animals in general. So here's a little cuteness to brighten your tuesday! My beautiful pup Delilah - I also have a handsome little white cotton ball named Sampson and I'll take a cute picture of him while i'm home for break!

Hey beautiful people!

Drum roll please...I heard about Drew Barrymore's new makeup, Flower, just the other day and stopped by my local Walmart to see what they had out so far. I believe the collection is only available at Walmart, and since they aren't doing any ad campaigns for the first year - it will just be promote by word of mouth. Which I think that the products are so great and different from other drugstore collections as far as price, packaging, and quality go they will have no problem getting the hype started. 

The Walmart I went to only has a small end cap with lip, nail, and mascara products so I picked up a few lip products they had.

Simple Way to Sanitize Your Makeup

Hello lovely readers!!!

This post will be about how to sanitize you makeup. I posted a few weeks ago about how important it is to clean your makeup brushes to get rid of germs and make the life of your brushes last longer. Well it's also very important to sanitize your makeup especially after being sick or letting your friends use your makeup. Since, it's the season of colds and such this will be even more useful right now.

Think about using your lipstick or Chapstick when your sick and then you're better and you just keep using it again and again...ew.

You Will Need: 

 Bottle of 90% Alcohol 

Spray Bottle 

Your Germy Makeup

I got mine at meijer but you can get this for only a few bucks from any drugstore or grocery like store

Cleaning your brushes on a budget!

How to Clean and Dry your makeup 

brushes on a 'Broke Girls' Budget:

It's really important to clean your makeup brushes/sponges everyone now and then (every two weeks or more would be best) because not only do they look gross from all the makeup residue on them, they build up bacteria very easily. (yuck) Which can eventually lead to break outs, and no one wants that OR the nasty bacteria all over their face.

You're Going to Need:

- Towel

- Brush Shampoo (gentle hair shampoo)

- Clothes Hanger

- Rubber Bands

- Your Dirty Brushes/sponges

Ulta Brush Cleaner

I am using this Brush cleaner that I got from Ulta for around $6.00 but i've also used Elf's brush shampoo that they sell for arounf $3.00 or you can use a gentle hair shampoo or baby shampoo.
